My Talents
Programming Talents

C/C++ (visual studio)
Extensive knowledge of c/c++, mainly from programming in Visual Studio .net, but also some programming in borland c++, as well as older c/c++ ediors (in DOS). I've been doing a lot of different things, some of them includes MFC applications (poker game, database interface, simple network chat program), a little tcp/udp coding (see last example) and game programming using openGL as well as working with third party render engines, such as ogre3D and Torque. Be sure to check out the project pages for some examples!

Java (Eclipse)
About the same level of knowledge I have in c++ I have in Java. I've worked with the Eclipse editor, codeWarrior and regular notepad/commandline compiling. I also have some experince with JOGL (openGl for java) where I did a simple scenegraph/engine. With the AgentFX Engine I did a particle system (read more over at projects).

Flash
I have pretty good experience working with flash and programming actionScript. In my project pages I have two and a half games (combo!, blockdown, and helljump, the last one isnt finished yet) which I did in flash, and I've also done another flash project involving rss/xml/pictures and a nice way of presenting them to the user. I've also got some basic knowledge about how to animate/tween stuff, and i guess I can draw some simple shapes as well =).

HTML/CSS
I guess I know about most things there is to know about HTML, and I'm pretty good with the CSS as well (just look at this nice site!). I dont use anything else then a text editor, IE no fancy dreamweaver stuff. I guess there isnt that much more to write, after all, HTML is pretty basic.

PHP/MySQL
I can do pretty much anything with php/MySQL, however, I'm unsure how well optimized it is and how safe/vulnerable my coding is, but for a site like this one it doesnt matter that much. Some stuff I have on this pages is a poll, a shoutbox, visitor logger, news posting, commenting, stuff like that. I've also done a complete tournament system for my chessclubs homepage, but its not in use anymore so I have stopped updating it. It has a simple inputting system to enter the games played and then generates a nice tournament sheet. It can still be seen over here. I've also done a few php-scripts that I use to manipulate stuff from flash movies, like highscore systems and rss feeds.

Symbian (series 60)
I've worked a bit with symbian, and although it's c++ I list it alone since its a bit special. We programmed for the nokia n-gage, and I think it was series 60, so I have some experience in programming for cellphones (read more under projects).

Visual Basic/Delphi
Only basic knowledge, havent worked very much with either of them but I am familiar with how they work. The visual basic version I was using was 1.0 or something like that, so pretty long time ago.

Other (pascal/basic/qbasic)
Well, just basic for/while/if stuff and some graphics, nothing to be proud of but we all have to start somewhere.

Graphical Talents

Photoshop
This website is completely designed in photoshop, so I guess I know a bit about it. I've read through a lot of tutorials and have learnt some basic techniques, but I'm no Artist =). As long as I stick to straght lines and simple/clean design I can produce okay graphics at least. Mostly I just run around in the filters menu and layer styles, and sometimes the end results is nice, sometimes its total crap (like the ~10 other designs for skallen.net I did, and no, Im not showing those!).

Milkshape 3d
In my work at Optimation I had to do some modelling, and milkshape is darn easy to start with, and I kind of got stuck working with it. I think it might have been a better idea to go with blender, but I also like the simplicity of Milkshape. The best model to date I've done is probably this one which really turned out great. Just modelling isn't that hard, but what really vexes me is the U/W-mapping, can't really grasp that part, sometimes it goes great, sometimes it turns out crap. Ah well. I can't be good at everything now can I?

Blender
I did a small racing game in blender, took a few days, nothing spectacular but I know the basics of doing stuff in blender.

Maya
I can make boxes, move models around (but not make anything fancy myself) and stuff like that. Just the basics.

Bryce 3D
Know how to do some basic abstract art stuff, did some simple renders for a background.

Other Talents

Chess
I play a bit of chess at my spare time, and although Im not very likely to be come world champion, I can play decent. I play both on the net at ICC and at the local chess club. I'm about average in the club, I can beat some of the best there on a good day but I can also loose to the worst dudes there on a bad day =)

Go
I've been playing Go on and off for a while now. It all started when I watched Hikaru no Go, an anime about Go, which got me really hooked. In the beginnning I only played on the net but I recently bought a real Go board and stones, so, now I play IRL as well.
